Visitor recommendations
Hinodecho sits right next to the lively Noge area, but carries a calmer mood of its own. Some call it "Noge's back door" — a quieter entrance into that deeper, more local side of the neighborhood.
Walk around and you'll notice small, characterful drinking spots tucked here and there. Finding a niche, hideaway-style bar that feels a little different from Noge's bustle is part of the fun of Hinodecho — and so is chatting with the person behind the counter once you're in.
Not far from Hinodecho Station is Nogeyama Zoo, a rare spot where you can see animals for free in the middle of the city. It's popular with locals and visitors alike — a good place for a stroll, some animal-watching, and maybe a bit of nostalgia.
If you want to feel the deeper side of Noge while also finding your own favorite little bar or a place to unwind, Hinodecho might be just the neighborhood for you.
